Following the great response we have had for the Moseley coach I would like to try to gauge the level of support we would get for the Knights away match against London Scottish on Friday (sorry), March 20th. I reckon we will need to leave Castle Park at 1pm and would aim to leave Richmond, say, 30 minutes after the end of the game. The coach will cost close on £1,000 and we clearly have no chance of recovering all that. I have therefore been in contact with Bob and Chris and we have agreed that, if we can get a minimum of 20 people signing up at £20 each, we will go ahead and make up the deficit from supporters' funds.
This game is important for the Knights in our battle to move up the league and is one that I know that both Griff, and his fellow coaches, and the team believe we are more than capable of winning based on our form over the past few games. However they need our support as it is appreciated by the players and the coaching staff. I know that many of your are still working and to you your leave will be precious but we have many retired members who support the Knights so let's try to take a Dad's Army to London if nothing else.
