What happens if the championship fails to complete the league programme this year as a result of the “virus”.
What will the RFU do?
1. Claim some money back as clubs will not have played the requisite number of games? 2. Use current league positions to determine promotion/relegation? 3. Suspend the leagues and have no promotion or relegation (except for the naughty boys Saracens) thus rescuing Leeds again?

If all the rugby is done this season , i favour No 2 wildbill , it would seem the logical conclusion however this could run into complications in a few leagues where 1 or 2 teams have a possibility of promotion or relegation. I'm glad i am not the one to sort it out !!
I think you may be asking a bit much there Jon. Talking to the office staff this morning they had over £20000 worth of business cancelled yesterday and the lack of rugby at the club over the next few weeks could cost the club over £100000. I will not be asking for anything back - rather leave it there to help the club survive
Saracens relegation is for cheating and must be enforced to avoid the RFU looking even more stupid. I agree Bill what happens to Leeds Can they afford to one stay up and two continue to exist as an amateur club playing in a ground they cannot afford
Saracens points deduction(s) were by PLR. Nothing to do with the RFU, I think I would be mildly amused if the RFU did null and void this year. There could be a lot of litigation by certain parties on the horizon
Thank you for your guidance K and D but i really do not have the time to delve into the various constituent bodies making up the monstrosity that is the make up of Rugby Union these days. From what you say can the RFU do anything that affects the PLR and presumably vice versa. Will Leeds survive?

kenner: Just a Question if I may? Why after a season and on to the second can we not get an actual picture of Aaron Carpenter on the players site? Did not someone just take team photos?
Sept 21, 2017 19:35:08 GMT
Sir Spicious: I fear there are rumours that Aaron may, in fact, be a vampire and as such his image does not reflect in mirrors nor can it be captured in a photo. I should, however, warn you this may be fake news.

thomasmachin: It would appear that if we are to replace the departing players we had better be quick or all the available players will be signed by Ealing ,Coventry and Cornish Pirates!

barbelhunter: What a great re signing that is.

donnyknightsfan: that was absolutely dire today almost from start to finish apart from a spell in the 2nd half when we looked OK. players don't look motivated enough to me. they need a kick up the backside. the next two games v Bedford and Irish look a tough ask now.

donnyknightsfan: after yesterday's showing a new attacking coach and structure is needed ASAP. our attack is really poor. why don't we ever look to create space?. you're not going to beat championship defences by just running straight at them.

thomasmachin: I would support any reasonable suggestion to support the Club

Sir Spicious: Sorry, Lock. I think most of us forget to check the Shoutbox so it wasn't bad manners that we ignored you, more bad habits. Welcome to the chat. Look forward to your contributions. New voices are always welcome.
